Start Windows in Safe Mode: To remove a spyware, virus, or for troubleshooting and diagnostic purposes, you'll have to start Windows in Safe Mode, when a program is not installed correctly, or damaged, incompatible drivers, causing a malfunction in Windows.

Programs do not start, and launch only basic services.

If during operation in Safe Mode does not appear errors, mean that newly installed software or driver is guilty. Remove from the computer. Perhaps this maneuver is the most effective to restore the system.

System Configuration Utility

With the utility, built into Windows, can filter system error. For Boot in Safe Mode, do the following:

  • 1.) - Press Win + R keys simultaneously on your keyboard. In Run dialog box appears enter msconfig.exe. Launch Configuration window (System Configuration Utility.) Press Enter or click OK.

  • 2.) - On General tab, choose Selective Startup (do not click OK yet.)

  • 3.) - Now click the Boot tab, and under Boot options, select Safe boot box. Finally, first click Apply, and then click OK.

  • 4.) - Safe Mode requires reboot. Click Restart.


After reboot:

  • 5.) - Appears Desktop in safe mode, and automatic loading Help window. As you can see in the bottom right, stopped the Sound, Internet, Wi-Fi because load only minimal services.

6.) - Not allowed any special operation, only services to repair mode. Nor pictures cannot open.

  • a.) - Try to uninstall the most recently installed program.

  • b.) - Try to uninstall the latest drivers installed.

  • c.) - Restore your system to an earlier time when the system still function properly.

Only basic service is running

If the repair attempt is not successful, unfortunately, just reinstall can help ...

The site was launched in 2007. After termination of the support for the Windows '98, the site moved on web hosting webhosticon. The first descriptions were made for XP, however, following the cessation support Microsoft XP (Experience), Windows7 and Vista many descriptions were deleted. From 26 October 2012 more Windows 8 and 8.1 tips have been added, and in late 2014 October tips for Windows 10. Meanwhile, the facade of the site has changed twice, but in early 2016 with the spread of smart phones, tablets, has become important to turn the site into responsive «mobile-friendly». Current website design, optimized for mobile devices, was created in the first months of 2017
